hookah

Have you heard a term of "Hookah" before?
As you can see the picture, hookah also known as "SHISYA". It's quite popular among Malaysians currently especially in youth league. Maybe it's a trend nowadays. We can see many shisya are served eeverywhere! Well, I'd love to share what I've learnt from tonight presentation, which was actually last night hahahaa... Last group has presented us this quite informative topic. Personally, I found this is good to share because this entry is related to my previous entry which was "smoking gene". Why I say so?

First of all let me clarify you that the mitos which said that the smoke (the white fog like in picture) from the hookah; shisya has lower level of hazarding/threaten our life and health compared to smoking (cigar) is TOTALLY WRONG!

Many people see this true because the lesser the smoke, the lower the risk. This is not true my dear. Why I say so? This is because of that the air surround us are sometime moist, so called humidity. As a Biology student, I found this is right. Like the tremendous pathetic crisis happens in Japan now, why the radiation is still not spread straight away to our country? This moist breeze, humidity actually act as barrier. Thus, preventing it from spread. That is why we see the smoke vanish and fades off.

Guys, for your information... Hookah is more dangerous compared to smoking!!!
It is 400 times increased risk for someone to have respiratory problems rather than smoking! OMG!!!!!!!!! Imagine how bad it is.... T_T

The contents are:
  • Hydrated/Preserve Tobacco (Tembakau Peram)
  • Charcoal (Arang)
The charcoal itself boosts up the rate of getting the problems. This lead to cancer! How this happen? Its like this... when the charcoals are burned, there will be water as product instead of produce the smoke. The water in that container is the one which cannot filter the toxin produced! So, the toxin level will be higher... Several effects that have been discovered are heart disease, barren and Pneumonia...

I not campaigning here. Just to share the info... and it's up to you to generalize it. Feel free to share your opinion or anticipation. :)
